Winterfest Volunteers
Volunteers are an essential aspect of the Winterfest.
The benefits of volunteering for the Pemberton Valley Winterfest are endless. While increasing the capacity of the Winterfest committee to accomplish its goals and deliver a fantastic festival to the community, it gives each of us opportunities to network, develop, participate, interact, learn and contribute. Join us and help us promote Pemberton's unique mountain culture and strengthen our community.

If you would like to participate but don't have the time to take one of the following position, check the list of volunteers needed during the Winterfest, spare an hour or a day, an contribute to this great celebration of our community! Winterfest Volunteers Schedule of Events
Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
Artists and performers Coordinator
Research & book performers. Liaise prior-during and after Winterfest. Help artists and performers with set up and tear down. Set the performance line-up. Troubleshoot and liaise with Winterfest Chair and operations.
Arts Unlimited at the Museum Coordinator
Create, implement & supervise. Secure venue, create indoor and outdoor workshops and activities, keep material inventory, arrange for with setup and tear-down.
Parade Director
Responsible for promoting, confirming participants and align floats in the Winterfest opening parade. Create itinerary. Liaise with RCMP, Firefighters, Village of Pemberton.
Supervisor for Load In/Load Out Crew
Heavy-lifting crew – Stage, props, lights
Winterfest Angels
Helping out, running errands, according to need.
Collaterals Distribution
Responsible for the distribution of Winterfest Posters, pins and programs to businesses, schools, sponsors, partners and venues.
Winterfest Photographers
Photographers will be expected to photo document the Festival as much as possible. Some events and venues will have key photo targets identified by the Festival coordinator. Targets include groups on stage, in workshops, and individuals. Must use DIGITAL CAMERA with high resolution setting and turn over CD with high resolution files.
